John joined Zerr Berg Architects after a move home to North Dakota from the Twin Cities. As a Grand Forks native and NDSU Architectural graduate, being close to home and family is gratifying. John has a strong background in retail design and prototype development, but his true design passion lies within theaters. He has been a large part of Zerr Berg Architect’s recent theaters at Horizon Middle School and Central Cass School. John loves touring new performance spaces and watching the productions in each space. In his down time, he is set designing for West Fargo Sheyenne High School Theater and with family, woodworking, or tinkering. A Fargo resident John lives with his wife Ashley, girls, Emma and Elli, and son, Isaac.
