Zerr Berg Architects partnered with Populous to design a new grandstand structure, enhancing both the fan experience and image of the North Dakota State Fairgrounds. The project consists of a fully covered 7,200 seat grandstand. The fan amenities were distributed below the grandstand and were sized to accommodate concerts with a large standing crowd. The large entry concourse streamlines the ticketing process, also functioning as an exhibition / reception hall during non-event days. The new grandstand allows the fairgrounds to serve its patrons and events year round, supporting its large crowd events with ease.
