Moorhead Area Public Schools had concerns regarding security at the front entry to Ellen Hopkins Elementary School. Zerr Berg Architects remodeled the administrative offices so that all existing glass walls at the exterior of the front entry could be viewed from the Principal’s reception office or personal office. After the remodel there was no question as to where the school’s office was for visitors or administrators of the school because of the strong visual connection to the main entry door. This resulted in a comfortable reception environment for staff and school visitors.
