Project Description

The Carl Ben Eielson Middle School accommodates 875 students and was designed with a 3-story academic wing arranged in a house concept, including 8 academic teams. The new middle school consists of 51 dedicated teaching stations including traditional classrooms and science lab /classrooms, exploratory labs, music rehearsal classrooms, computer classrooms and a physical education complex. The Auditoria accommodates up to 350 students for lunch or up to 550 seats for performances.

Zerr Berg Architects received a North Dakota American Institute of Architects Award of Merit for the design of Carl Ben Eielson Middle School in 2008.
